This Mauritian website is a depiction of the exotic and picturesque places of interest in Mauritius Island, form Excursions to the islets, gorgeous beaches, historic places and cultural abodes. It is considerably pertinent to my chosen topic that is “travelling” as it engenders different fascinations present in Mauritius Island. These abodes that depicts the pure Mauritianism, the green biodiversity and the cruising along the beaches’ sun, sea and sand. In particular, the website focuses on promoting the Island’s exoticism through diversified infrastructural monuments, linked histories and commemorated events all over the Island.
If ever I head to Tamarin Bay in the West of the Island, or to the world illustrious “One Eye” at Le Morne, wherein I can make the most out of the greatest waves for kite surfing and nautical activities. In addition, using the website’s itineraries, I can have access to the country’s cultural panorama, that is the saltpans of Tamarin, which are extremely unique to stopover. The dry and perfect condition of the area, Tamarin is the idyllic place for salt production.
Whereas in the north of the Island, I can have a diversification of landscapes to achieve on my wish list. Les Vergers of Labourdonnais at Mapou are alluring to the eyes and peaceful to the ears wherein a walk amidst the fauna with anthuriums, bougainvillea’ and hibiscus shall be a mesmerizing garden of interest.
In addition, The Red Roof Chapel situated at Cap Malheureux the northernmost part of the Island’s attraction. A holistic place where the British troops confronted the Island for the subsequent time in 1810. Additionally, Cap Malheureux’s Notre Dame Auxiliatrice is a must to visit and experience the tranquility. Once there, I can merely appreciate the eminence of the detailed woodwork structures and its goliath contours.
Furthermore, at Pointe Canon in Mahebourg, I might get inciting photographs, as it is an exceptional place to shoot the Lion Mountain and the Grand Port mountain range not far from it. Another place of interest is the Ilôt Mouchoir Rouge and a few kilometers away from it is the Ile aux Aigrettes, which are also worthy for some panoramic shots. They definitely deserve a place in my photo album and for my audiences to view them. At Pointe Canon, the set up of popular concert venues are great for the public to which II had once attended. It is known for its yearly commemorative ceremonials rejoicing the abolition of slavery on the 1st of February. The amazing departure of regattas involves intriguing pirogues that are steered with speed and expertise by their proud teams.
